- August 20, 2019: The Blue Hour Album Release Party, California Jazz Conservatory
- August 19, 2019: The Blue Hour Album Release Party, The Luggage Store
- August 2017: House concert hosted by Brenda Wong Aoki and Mark Izu, where Wayne, guitarist Rick Vandivier (who appears on nine of the ten songs on the blue hour) and I premiered a few of Wayne’s and my original songs and a first-ever reading of my poetry. This concert was the impetus for the blue hour album
- Spring 2015: Suite J-Town, a suite of performance, exhibition and community events, which explored the meaning of home and place to the area Japanese community: San Francisco’s Japantown. Created by Brenda Wong Aoki and Mark Izu, I was part of the band, which included Kenny Endo, Masaru Koga, Shoko Hikage, and the proverbial (singing) voice of joy and suffering intertwining stories set amidst WWII, the Japanese internment, and civil rights movement.
- October 2010: A set of theatricalized short stories written by Brenda Wong Aoki set to original and extant music. I performed in public for the first time as part of a live band supporting Brenda’s performance of her material. It was challenging, nervewracking, and incredibly exciting to be part of this production as my first foray in performance and
